With the addition of the New Area 13 Games Browser
the games can now be launched while the players
are able to chat.
There will be upgrades to the browser assuredly,
however for the moment no user upgrade is required
as the application can be updated from the website and
does not require a new download until a new version is built.

in being part of the Area 13 Games Beta Test Group,
simply fill out the Online Form and register as an
Area 13 Beta Tester.

Why would I do this?

Well.. you get free stuff!
The Beta Test Group will have access not only to the
Games being tested but to the Tools and Resources
available. This doesn’t exclude outside Game Engines
or Software!
Area 13 Games design team has skills in several forms
of Game Design Applications as well as multiple forms
of Production and Media Creation.

If you have skills we can put you to use!

Online Application

Current Project: Soldat 13
Soldat 13 is the most current full time project under development.
With much to do the game should give the player a view into a
deep and realistic plot and potentially long term game.
The game project state is currently in the build process.
Quite a bit of work is required to make this game a success
and have a good first product release for Area 13 Games.
The development of realistic Artificial Intelligence (AI)
and the detailed visual effects needed to create the atmosphere
have been time consuming, to say the least.

The development process in general is very simple, however
a vast library of new characters, textures, scripting and media
files must all be created and optimised for better game play in
a highly competitive market.

As the project is expected to be complete circa December, 2010
there is and always will be potential for Downloadable Demos as
well as the constant need for Beta Testers.

The main goal of the early Flight Simulator program was
a Flight Simulator built for Combat Flight Sims inc. using the Microsoft FS98 Engine titled “Desert Fury“.
Thanks to our Troops, this game never made it to market in time,
not to mention not 1 single Iraqi jet fighter made it off the ground
during the war. Designed to give the gamer a realistic contemporary
Combat Flight Simulator, Desert Fury was and still is a great way
to experience some of what the modern day fighter pilot experiences
during combat sorties.
