Wastelandz
Area 13 Games began with building Flight Simulators using the Microsoft FS 98 Engine. These games were designed for Single Player and Multi Player both on and off line. During the development of these Flight Simulators several concepts and ideas came to mind, the end result was a high speed fast action Flight Simulator which became named “Wastelandz“.
Wastelandz was and is still the fastest Flight Simulator known to man.
This post apocalyptic scenario led to advancements in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) that set new standards for Area 13 Games.
Realistic AI is a must for any game be it a First Person Shooter or Flight Simulator.

Desert Fury
Posted on September 3, 2010 | No CommentsThe main goal of the early Flight Simulator program was a Flight Simulator built for Combat Flight Sims inc. using the Microsoft FS98 Engine titled “Desert Fury“. Thanks to our Troops, this game never made it to market in time, not to mention not 1 single Iraqi jet fighter made it off the ground during the war. Designed to give the gamer a realistic contemporary Combat Flight Simulator, Desert Fury was and still is a great way to experience some of what the modern day fighter pilot experiences during combat sorties. -
